Session length: 90 minutes

Trainer: Joanne Hagerty

When: 29/11/2022 @ 13:30

Where: Online via Zoom

Those who are most successful with Innovation, Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation have a robust network of contacts whom they can leverage throughout the development of their research.  In this session, you’ll learn a framework and develop a set of specific actions you can take to proactively build your network to help you achieve you KE, Commercialisation and Innovation goals.

This session is run by Joanne Haggerty, an entrepreneurial consultant and trainer who runs the Research Commercialisation courses at Skillfluence.  Jo is an expert networker and has helped hundreds of researchers develop networking building strategies that align specifically with their career and professional goals. Even the most experienced networker will come away with new ideas for how to level up their networking activity.  Participants leave with a new toolset and networking action plan.

This is a SPARK programme – an engaging, short programme focused on developing a specific competency.

‘An informative and practical course for anyone who would like a beginners guide to all things interacting with business. Also a great opportunity to try out your networking skills and grow your network. This is targeted for researchers interested in being more effective in Knowledge Exchange.’ Claire Proctor, University of Sunderland
